NEW!
For over two years we have developed a new Matt linseed oil paint for painting indoors that is not classified as hazardous to health or the environment. Previously, our matt linseed oil paint contained turpentine as a solvent, creating working environment problems when painting indoors.
Matt linseed oil paint contains a highly purified odourless petroleum naphtha (with better working environment values than aliphatic naphtha). Petroleum naphtha has a benzene content of 0.01%, the limit value being 0.1%. The paint contains only 2 dl. of naphtha per litre.
The paint can be applied to almost all substrates including pH-neutral plaster, wood, panelling, previously painted surfaces, metal and more besides.
The paint is applied undiluted1-2 times depending on the substrate. Highly absorbent substrates should be primed first using the linseed oil paint White Primer Indoors.
The paint functions well as a primer on previously painted surfaces.
Paint coverage: 5-12 sqm depending on the application method and substrate.
Tools: Paintbrush, roller or spray.
The paint consulting company Lyngby Konsult & Måleri has carried out tests on spray painting with the paint.
See the separate Test Report.
Finish: Matt
Shade: White (Other colour shades can be made as special shades on request)
Wipe dry after approx. 10 hours.
Can be painted over after approx. 24 hours.
The painted surface is easy to clean with washing-up detergent and water after 3 weeks.
The paint contains no water and is therefore not sensitive to frost and can be stored for a longer period.
Further information: The paint has several advantages when compared to water-soluble emulsion paints. The surface is more durable and easier to wipe clean. The paint functions well in unheated areas. The paint is long lasting and does not putrefy in the bucket.
